Masala Awards 2018 took place amid all the necessary razzmatazz last night in Dubai. Known for bringing Pakistani and Indian entertainment fraternity together, the awards had in its attendance stars like Kareena Kapoor, Ayesha Omar, Karthik Aryan, Frieha Altaf, Sheheryar Munawar, Nabila and Faraz Manan among a host of other celebrities.
Here is what they all wore and won at the event.
Ayesha Omar:
The gorgeous diva wore a Michael Cinco ball gown adorned with butterflies. Her hair were side swept with minimal makeup, and the jewels brought all the attention to her attire. No second thoughts on her winning the “Most Stylish Star Award” last night then!
Amna Ilyas & Osman Khalid Butt:
The dusky beauty and her ‘Baaji’ co-star entered the event together wearing Faraz Manan. Both the stars looked regal while they picked up the award for “Agents of Social Change”.
Sheheryar Munawar:
The handsome hunk wore an Ismail Farid suit which made him look extremely dapper. He also picked up the award for “Most Versatile Actor”.
On the other hand, Ali Rehman, Frieha Altaf, and Nabila also put their best foot forward while enjoying the night away!
Aamina Sheikh, who could not attend the event, had her brilliant performance in Cake celebrated as she was awarded the ‘Best Actress.’
And last but not the least from the Pakistani side, our very own Faraz Manan had a special surprise for us as he held a solo fashion show at the event. Faraz’s muse and close friend, Kareena Kapoor Khan, walked the ramp for him wearing a beautiful, shimmery pink dress, looking every inch the star she is.
On the Indian side, Kareena picked up the award for “Asian Icon of the Year” which we believe she rightfully deserves! Her contemporary, Kartik Aryan, on the other hand, won the award for “Best Actor”.
The event also consisted of performances by Mika Singh and Navraj Hans, who also shook a leg with Kartik Aryan! All in all, the star-studded event seemed like one fun-filled night to remember!
