Last night, while everyone was enjoying the New Year’s eve, famous VJ and model, Mathira got seriously injured in a car accident in Dubai. She shared this news via her Instagram story and had a lot to say about her friends and ill-wishers.

What happened?

As seen in a video posted on her Instagram story, Mathira was enjoying the car ride somewhere in Dubai with her friend Sara, when she got involved in an ugly accident. According to her, their car was hit by two trucks and the impact can be seen in a picture she shared.

She then went on to share with her 156,000 Instagram followers that she is safe and that “a little bit of pain” from her three fractured ribs and a broken jaw are no big deal to her.

Her Message to Ill-Wishers

Even after suffering several injuries, Mathira thanked Allah for being with her in all her ups and downs. She also mentioned her ill-wishers saying that “bad eyes and ill-wishers do cause a little bit of damage” but Allah will reply to them for her.

She also expressed her blind trust on Almighty and shared that she believes in miracles like the one she just saw.

Optimistic for 2019

Despite the injuries, Mathira said she was very optimistic about life and hopes that 2019 will be a new beginning. She was very thankful to her friends for being with her and sent love to all the well-wishers for showing their concerns over her injuries.

The injuries didn’t hold the model turned actress back as she went on to promote her upcoming show on Bol TV along with the news of her accident.
