Fawad Khan is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars of the Pakistani entertainment industry. Time and again he has proven his versatility as a performer, the result of which has been his massive success story!

What began with Humsafar, only grew over the years as the Fawad hysteria took over the world, thanks to a seamless transition into mainstream Bollywood which made him a worldwide sensation.

However, after the ban on the Pakistani artists, the journey of Fawad was cut abruptly and his fans on both sides of the border were in for a major disappointment. Their beloved star was missing from the screen as he was last seen in a full-fledged role back in 2016 in Kapoor and Sons.

2019: The Year of Fawad Khan

2019, however, seems like the year of Fawad Khan! First, it was the teaser trailer of The Legend of Maula Jatt that came a few weeks back with the announcement that the film will be hitting cinemas on Eid-ul-Fitr 2019, and now it’s him headlining the coveted PSL anthem, which is yet another feather in the performer’s cap.

The anthem was just released now and after three years of Ali Zafar crooning the official PSL song, the job was assigned to Fawad this time around. And we’d say he has done a pretty damn fine job.

While there is no confirmation on why Ali was removed from the position, it’s probably the Meesha Shafi harassment controversy that PCB didn’t want to be associated with.

Nonetheless, the anthem titled, Khel Deewano Ka, featuring Fawad Khan, Shuja Haider, and Young Desi is definitely an interesting take on the sport and does Fawad look perfect or what!
